Bay Leaf Manifestation Ritual With Lady Grae
Bay leaf manifestation magic is a simple yet powerful practice rooted in intention and elemental energy. Bay leaves are known for their strong connection to protection, clarity, and manifestation.
What time period is best?
This ritual can be done during the new moon, full moon, or anytime you feel ready to call something in.
Items:
unbroken bay leaf
fire safe dish
candle (or lighter)
Instructions:
- Cleanse your bay leaf with white sage or infuse with grounding energy with Palo Santo smoke. Some people may hold the bay leaf after writing intentions on it, but I also like to do it before for a deeper connection.
- Write clear intentions or desires you want to receive on the bay leaf such as peace, clarity, abundance, or whatever you would like to send out to receive. You can write one thing or multiple, everyone’s practice is different, but something you want focused on.
- Now, hold the leaf in your hand and visualize already having what you wrote and feel it. In a fire safe dish, light the leaf up with a candle or lighter. As the smoke rises say, “I trust the universe to receive this”.
IMPORTANT JOURNALIST NOTE:
Remember, when you’re working with fire, be safe. ALWAYS supervise your burnings and candles. NEVER step away or fall asleep. If you must, snuff the candle or burning out and continue at a better time. Better safe than sorry or worse.
If you foresee your burning or candle being extra wild (as in very flammable), please burn it outside with an abundance of water (such a 5 gallon bucket, or near a body of water) or hose nearby. NEVER burn intense flammable burnings during a dry season/spell or high fire season outside. The goal is to complete your workings without burning a whole forest or neighborhood down.
Your workings really shouldn't be wildly flammable. When a working demands certain herbs, it's not by the tablespoon, it's by the pinch (depending on the working). This usually applies to candle workings. Less is more. Your herbs last longer and it is much safer to burn.
Small burnings can be done inside a metal container such as a cauldron, a burn dish, or something that can contain the fire without melting.
BURNING TIP:
Place a hot pad under your burn dish and keep a towel or oven gloves nearby. Metal stays hot for quite awhile, so be careful when you go to discard your ashes.
